Biodiversity of Mollusca in Dalmaj Marsh, Southern Marshland, Al-Diwaniya City, Iraq

Abstract One of nature’s most valuable resources, biodiversity plays a critical role in meeting many human requirements and protecting from environmental extremism conditions. Mollusca benthic invertebrates are important biota aquatic ecosystems need further investigation. The current study highlights some species recorded Al-Delmage Marsh Iraq. points out six Mollusca. These Melanoides tuberculate, Physa acuta, Viviparus bengalensis, Lymnaea radix, Corbicula fluminalis fluminea . Ecological indices reveal decrease the values Shannon (H’), Evenness (E), Margalef (R). This result reflects ecological disturbance that world faces over time Iraq is fifth country this regard.
